Where is the best place to buy a Weber 32/36 carburetor to replace my Solex Carburetor. My car is a 1963 Sunbeam Alpine GT.

Have you got the original 1592 or a 1725?
Id buy an original Italian cast dgv and rebuild it.
Also if you have rebuilt the motor at some point and either bored it or skimmed the head there is also a 34/36 for a little more oopmh ... And fuel consumption isn't really an issue on our cars...

Another thing... When you swap the carb, take the manifold off, the stock manifold has 2 ports they will be smaller than the ones in the Weber so open the ports up to match the ports of the weber...and if doing that... It's worth just boring it out and making the 2 ports into an oval and make sure the external profile extends to the extent of the Weber ports.. the weber gasket can be used as a guide.
