Where did you get the screen rubber?

Frank Schoenburger has them for other Rootes vehicle, Imps, Minx and Super Minx. Saw some sourced in GB with expensive shipping cost. On Alpines I have always removed the frame and did it on a table works well with lube and rope, So far didn’t break one (yet).

What is the problem with the repo rubber? Please keep us informed on your progress.
Too thick in the 4 corners...... when you try to get the end piece's on and try to line up the screw holes it won't fit.......then when you tap the end pieces with a hammer the glass breaks .......I think the answer is to cut the corners out ( notch) and don't use a hammer......I just picked up another windshield from Eric and not even home yet......bad New s is it is a series 1 and my car is ser 2 so I must switch vertical side pieces and the rubber once again......wish me luck ......ps ...I got the rubber from McGregor

Late series much easier as has one piece frame.... early cars have 4 pieces and screws holes have to line up.... hard to do when rubber is too thick.....I think notch cutting the corners of rubber is the answer

NOW I have broken windshield number three (went all the way to erics in sc to pick it up)///////any small tap with hammer wil break it....I GIVE UP....now need series 2 windshiel in the frame and I wont mess with it.....anybody have one?

There’s one on eBay. Not cheap.

Good seller who I’ve bought from many times.

It is a series II frame do will be right for Mike's .. I guess you have to price it at cost of screen and the frame is a sundry... That said... If you want nice chrome .. will be waiting a while to find a good setup

I have your frame with glass, Mike, but Pennsylvania is a hike for you. Sorry, but I stopped shipping windshields due to breakage.

Is the one for sale on eBay for a Series I?
The seller doesn't give good pics of the lower corners, but pic #1 makes it appear they're angled and, if so, it's Series II. I'm pretty sure I have a correct SI frame/glass on the shelf, but I no longer ship glass. Here's the overpriced eBay frame:
