This might be of interest to you. Many people are familiar with 'Haynes Car Manuals', John Haynes was the pioneer of workshop manuals with photographs showing how to do specific restoration jobs. (He was also the inspiration for The Sunbeam Alpine Channel as we tried to create a video workshop manual for the Alpine).
The Haynes museum features many of the vehicles that he restored and is an amazing motor museum. This short video gives a taste of what is on display there. If you ever visit the U.K. try to incorporate a visit.

One Tiger - no Alpines?
The rest of us are too busy using them to put them in a museum!

It is also frustrating that the Alpine was one of the few cars that they didn't do a Haynes manual for! They did one for other Rootes cars with the 1725cc engine but nothing for the Alpine (or Tiger).
