Vacuum Leak Areas?

If the PCV and the Flame Trap are disconnected and the hoses are vented to atmosphere, what areas of the engine could cause a vacuum leak that could make the Weber 32/36 run lean outside of the manifolds to engine and manifold to Carb?

Did you lock up the PCV means with a short hose and a plug or a big screw with a clamp ? The best way however would be to replace the PCV with a blanking plug...

Spray carb cleaner around the carb base and intake manifold while engine is idling. Any leak there will show a major change in engine speed.
