Vacuum Fittings metal type in Aluminum Intake Manifold?

Scotty

Sitting on my dresser is the 32/36 Weber manifold that I bought from Pierce Manifolds just to see what difference it makes from the stock Solex PAIA Log Manifold, while the Stroms are out getting rebuilt. This manifold came with no fittings and before I screw -anything- into it, can someone please tell me what metal fittings should I use in this cast aluminum manifold? I intend to use Permatex Thread Sealant on it.

The fittings are 1/4" NPT, just so that's out there in case it changes the metal I would use (Thanks Puff)

I looked this up on various places and got several options but am just looking for the one that works that will (hopefully) give me the least headache. What am I best off using?

Thanks in advance!

Scotty .... Never had issues with any of the available metals .. brass, alum etc. .. thread/pitch would be the only thing in this case of concern I'd think ...? ... don't over tighten.

..... David
