Hello,
I am trying to find the owner of this 1963 Alpine that was listed on the Bring A Trailer web site but wasn’t sold. Anyone has a clue of how I can reach the owner?
Thanks you all

Try the auction houses. You may be able to contact the seller on BAT. Look for auctions
that he's watching and see if you can contact him that way.

Thanks,
Tried it but somehow, it seems that they filter the messages as they dont want people to contact sellers…

Looks like a friend’s car that was for sale a few months ago. I’ve contacted him for confirmation. If he confirms I’ll pm you.

Great, thank you :)
This means you’re in Vancouver? I know the dealer is in North Vancouver according to BAT. Any idea of what dealer in that area vmay sell high end cars? I say high end as when you look at the cars the selller listed in the past, there are a few Dodge Vipers and other classic cars.

Not the same car. Sorry. PM me if you’d like to see another car in Vancouver BC. I’ll connect you and the car’s owner.

If you know the Lot # you can contact BaT and they will put you in touch with the owner. BaT still makes their money if you come to a deal with the owner. He has sold several other cars on BaT so they know him well. He sold a car this week for $110K. BaT would like nothing more than for you to buy this car. But you will have to pay their buyer's fee/commission.

Tried that, they will not give any info on the owner. Their thinking is that if they give sellers contact, people may not bid and wait after the auction and contact the seller bypassing BAT in the process...

I think this car is at Blue Star Motors in North Van

Looks like you could be right. A red S3 was there on November 9 anyway. It’s not currently listed in inventory on their website.

Makes sense, the pictures of most of the cars he sells seem to have been taken in a warehouse. Will give it a try.
Thanks

Thank you « dear Watson « you did a good investigation, they are the one they still have it, Rob will send me the listing shortly. Thanks for your help.

13500 seems below market. Be interesting to have comps on a OD car as stock as possible.

The highest bid was $13500.00 but it wasn’t sold. I think they’ll be asking $30K cnd. Still waiting for the link to their listing.
