Thank you for removing the latest installment of insults and name-calling from the "Alpine Cars and Parts For Sale" forum. This is a place where Sunbeam enthusiasts can congregate to share ideas and experiences, as well as swap, sell or trade parts. I, for one, hate wasting my time reading a discussion thread, only to see it broken down by fools hurling personal insults.

Please, in the future...if you feel the need to bash someone, just simply PM them and do it...the rest of us don't need to see it.

Respectfully,

Andy,

Thank you. I think the most important thing is to keep conversations on the forum civil on our forum.

to whom

it's their right to say what they want. it's a public forum , so why decide what can be said and what can't. it seems al and paul were saying what they thought. that's the real world! like it or not. it's their right to say it. and they did. gosh knows i have disagreed with others including some founding members of this club and probably will disagree with others again. that's a given! although keeping things hid in the back room does seems to be current politics. YUK!!! does it bother you to hear people disagree? if so, don't listen! don't push your beliefs on others. stay behind your privacy fence and hide from the world. it's a safe haven for some of you. i for one do not care what others think about what i have to say. and i'm sure there are many others out there that feel the same way. for some unknown reason i learned back in the late sixties to say what i think. at least everybody knows where i stand. nothing to hide. get real! it's human nature to disagree! did you ever stop to think that sometimes it's fun to stir up stink? it seems i'm throwing gas on the fire again. maybe the same people you censored are laughing for all that's in them!!!! i'll be waiting to see if this post stays and how many think i'm wrong. next comment ????????????? oh,i forgot to say that if you keep an open mind a lot of good things come from disagreeing including knowledge. that's all for now !!!

There will be some policy changes shortly. Unfortunately, some of the comments went beyond disagreement.

People know when they're stepping over the line.

I am going to lock this thread out and replace it shortly with the up dated policy but I sincerely hope people will use judgement and show respect to each of the members of the forum.
