Hi everyone, my dad has had a Sunbeam tiger sitting in the garage for well over 30 years. The body is in rough shape but apparently the engine is still good on it. I am not a cars guy at all, but looking to get the car restored to its best form. I am located in the GTA, could anyone be if assistance and point me to where I can get this restored? Or are any of you super handy and what to help me restore it? I understand that this will be a significance cost. Thanks

Hi there, sounds like you have an interesting project. I am East of GTA in Ajax and have a Series IV Alpine. A restorer I have used for some work is Fawcett Motors. I have given you a link to their web page. They do very good work. Art is the fellow you would need to talk to.

Suggest you also reach out to Ron Stein who is on this Forum. He has 2 Tigers so could provide some guidence.

It's worth contacting the Tiger forums...

Also you say the body is rough... Can you post some photos... Rough Sunbeam bodies can hold a lot of structural rust... And....if you are paying someone to do the bodywork you could be up for a bill easily into the 30k+ for metalwork alone....

The mechanicals in a Tiger are cheap and easy... The bodywork is not.
