Sunbeam Alpine National 2023 IN THE U.K.

If anyone is planning to come across to the U.K. next summer the Sunbeam Alpine National 2023 will be in Kent (within 2 hours of both Gatwick and Heathrow airports) and will be an extremely special event.

It will be held at the beautiful 13th Century building, The Friars, Aylesford, Maidstone, Kent ME20 7BY Thursday July 27th 2023 - Monday 31st July 2023.
(The What3Words location for The Friars is mentioned.keep.sound.)

If you are planning a holiday here this could be an ideal place to centre your adventure around. there is accommodation on site and it is easy to travel to London and beyond from here.

More activities are being added and developed all the time but so far we can confirm that we have secured 60 tour places around the incredible historic Spitfire Factory at Biggin Hill, at a significant reduction on the usual price (first-come first-served so it will pay to book your National tickets promptly) This unique factory maintains and restores Spitfires, Hurricanes, Mustangs etc and keeps them flying. There will be an opportunity to ride in a Harrington bus.
Justin Harrington himself will be hosting a session on the development of the Harrington Alpines and the history of the relationship between Rootes and Harrington coach builders ahead of the publication of the new Harrington book.
Billy Hollis will be hosting a session on the story of the ‘real’ Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and his lifetime involvement with it both in the U.K. and the U.S.. This will include the rivalry with Sunbeam and how Ian Fleming took it as both his inspiration and the name for his book.
There will be a visit to the magnificent Westerham Brewery, there will be driving tests, an ‘Ask the Experts’ session, a million selling, chart topping band playing live and other musical entertainment as well as various other attractions that we are currently working on. This is all in addition to the ‘normal’ events that take place at every Sunbeam Alpine National. We are expecting 150+ Sunbeam Alpines to attend.

We recognise that things are hard for many people at this time so we are taking every step possible to keep all costs as low as it is possible to get them. Our aim is to ensure that everyone who comes can enjoy a high summer, long weekend, in Kent at the beautiful and historic Friars Abbey with like minded friends, without breaking the bank. The earlier that people book their tickets, the cheaper the event will be for them.

Please let us know if anyone intends to come over from the U.S. this year and we will facilitate your visit in any way that we can. To book tickets please e-mail qplus@sky.com for further information call Bob Prior on 044 7720 911718
