Many Alpine owners will have suffered from exhaust cotton reels shearing off and the exhaust then banging against the body of the car (or falling off entirely). The cotton reel rubbers are not ideal when used as they are on the standard Alpine. They are only bonded rubber and tend to shear off after being under load for a while. This video shows how we modify the mountings to prevent this from happening again and we also fit a larger back box which reduces the noise significantly without any loss of performance.
