Crappy weather means working indoors, so I have been busy putting new upholstery on the seats. First step was taking the old covers apart to use as a pattern. These seats have side impact air bags which I will keep.

Purchased one whole hide in Black and a half hide in Red.

Got the passenger door panel insert done.

New steering wheel with Cruise and Radio controls added.

Passenger seat done with red inserts and black outer back in the car, now working on driver's seat.

Both seats are done and back in the car, working on the Driver's side door panel now. Rain will not let up for some time and will be traveling to Europe soon.

What are your plans in Europe? I thought work was going to relocate me to the UK in the fall for a year, but that project has been pushed off for at least four months. My wife, daughter and I plan to vacation in Germany in late August this year.

Will be in the Arctic circle not too close to Russia, but I see that bastard Putin, I will try to take him out.

Picked up some thrasher wheels and tires to have on the car for fitting the fenders and quarter panels.

Ready to start the engine for the first time and the starter says "no way Jose"
Looks like it will have to wait until I can get a new one ordered and installed after the trip.
Oh well. another SNAFU

Well, that was fun!
Spent the day removing the supercharger so I could get the starter replaced, there just wasn't any room. I tried to remove the oil filter bracket, however the hardest bolt to reach started rounding on me so I stopped. Got it all back together by the end of the day and called it quits. Will try to start it in the coming days. Felt three earthquakes early this morning south of San Francisco in Pacifica and should be raining all day.
It can wait.

Sounds like a lot of fun. We don't get many earthquakes here in iowa, but they are predicting snow again for Friday. Glad I have heat in the garage.
