Still looking for Wheel options

I'm still trying to decide which way to go with my wheels, and so far I've concidered:

1, Repair and repaint existing wires - time/labor, quality concern

2. Replace with better used wires - Quality still a consideration, expense varies

3. Buy New wires - Expensive

4. Change to lug alloy - Expensive, time consuming

5. Change to spline alloy - Expensive

My splines are still in good shape, but the knock offs are pretty rough.

If my understanding is correct (anybode please correct me) the MG Midget uses the same wheel as our Alpines.

Moss Motors offers a splined mag similar to what VB sells for Alpines. The Moss Motors version seems to have a bolt on center spline:

They also offer a three eared knock off similar to Alpine:

Rich, a few years ago Jim Ellis had located an outfit that would make steel wheels to order. If I remember correctly, they were about 90 bucks each. Not as fancy as the alloy stuff, but just as good and and you can get something that will fit the car. Personally, I'm getting sick of the alloy wheels. They are expensive, few fit properly, most are as heavy as steel wheels and everyone has them. Dare to be different.
