Sputtering noise in exhaust while slipping the accelertion pedal

I have a problem whit my Sunbeam Tiger: it regards a sputtering noise in the exhaust when I slip the gas pedal. I have experienced this in the past and found out that the gaskets rings on the front exhaust pipe where leaking. New rings together with exhaust paste cured the problem.
But now the problem has returned. The TIger has a Lumenition electronic ignition, a new distributor and new spark plugs.
I know there are worse things than this but I really would like this problem solved.
I hope that some of you are able to point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance!

Best regards,

Peter

Peter.. why do assume if the car is running fine... Bit the sound has returned that the exhaust gasket isn't leaking again?

Michael it is a good point, but....the shop which is taking care of my Tiger has just installed new gasket rings but unfortuneately they ignored my instructions to use exhaust paste on it. So the latter could be the problem but on the other hand it must be possible to use those gasket rings without exhaust past isn't?

Depends on the seal on the flange .. also it's possible when adjusting pulling on the exhaust...the leak could also be from the manifold at the head...
