Look at the VIN. Looks like it has been swapped at some point.

The Engine number does not match the VIIN either.

Love the VIN plate. No mention of a title ...

Not sure what carburetors are on the car. Where would the OD designation be on the VIN? Might it be under one of those fat screws? And seems rather than suggesting it has OD since there is an extra lever, he could look under the car to be certain. No horn actuator- the arm could be related to that. And have never seen alternative wheel arch trim- they do seem to fit well, and be the right length

There is no reason to think the VIN plate is original to the car.
