Series V correct oil filter

What is the correct oil filter for my Series V that I can get at my local NAPA or O'Really store?

Fram's PH8 will fit and has more capacity (I ran this for years), but the shorter PH16 is 'correct' and fits better under the oil hose.

OR...search this site for mention (and cross-ref part #) of a better quality Wix filter. I've read that NAPA carries a NAPAGold brand filter that is made by Wix and identical to the Wix brand.

Did you know RockAuto lists eleven different oil filter part numbers for a 1966 Alpine with 1725 engine?

Don't know anything about most of them, but a couple are less than $2.00 a copy.
