Series II - Fuel Pump w/Hand Primer

1962300

Bronze Level Sponsor
I am replacing my old filthy fuel pump.
It is so old & original it has the Hand Primer Lever as a part of it.

Should I toss it?
Should I hold onto it for posterity?
Should I sell it for cheap, cheap, cheap?
Thoughts?

Thanks!

Hand lever for priming is good. Does it not work? I like to always hold on to parts. Worst case you might help out someone else in the future.

It worked last time the car ran; about 8 years ago.
I'm rebuilding the engine & like to rebuild / replace everything inside & out of a motor.
So I ordered a new pump....not being aware of the hand level part of these factory pumps.
Otherwise I would have sent this one out to rebuild.
But I already mounted the new one.
Thanks

Better to clean it and flush the old gas from it., then store it away for a time you will need it the replace the "new" pump that most likely will not last as long as the "old one"......
