six rootes vehicals were invited to the dayton concourse only to end up suffering the wrath of hurricane ike . the cars attending were a MK2 tiger owned by john engle, bob thompson's series 5 alpine, our harrington lemans and 69 GT,and an imp and a humber from the museum in dayton. the humber was the car that scott christie had .ike's fury shortened the day and resulted in damage to john's tiger from a falling tree branch . john took first place with his tiger and our 69 took second. we had much better weather this sunday at the meeting of the marques at allenberry resort south of carlisle ,pa. the temp was 80 and bright sunshine, which resulted in a great turnout of cars.at least this week our 69 beat out the local tiger and imp owners to take first place in this popular vote show .
