It is the weekend before the main event. It used to be about 70% of the cars were there, without some of the higher end historic cars.
When the even was called the Historics, the event was called the Prehistorics. I always got a kick out of the name. But now the main event is called the Reunion because the guy who was organizing it moved his event up to Sonoma.
I still go to the Laguna Seca event and not the Sonoma event. I don't know what the crowds are like for Sonoma. But I don't think the Laguna Seca event has lost any spectators.
We are going up on Friday and camping at the race track. So we won't see the pre-reunion this year.
