Sears Compressor

Before I toss this compressor I want to check if anyone has any interest just in case. The tank developed a leak. The compressor components were working fine when the leak developed. The components could be transferred to a new tank. Most likely that would require customizing a couple pieces of hard pipe. I'm good with parting out if anything is of use. Located in Wilmington, DE.

Same thing happened to mine. Small pinhole at the bottom. I ended up tossing it just getting a bigger compressor… I needed one anyway because of the sandblasting cabinet.

What is odd with this tank is that best I can tell there was some small patch repair and a chunk of that is what let go. But the repair patch was covered in the same paint as the rest of tank. Makes me wonder if the repair patch was done during the original manufacture process, but that seems wrong to me...

Yikes. Yeah, that’s fairly scary. Those tanks can go “boom” when played with.
