Scam Alert

Please be advised that it appears that my email has been hacked. If anyone receives an email from me with a document attached it is a scam or phishing device. If you do get one and are not sure, please PM me to verify that I sent it to you.
I had one member here and a few friends tell me that they received it today.

The scamers are very active...... wish I was close enogh to one of them to get a "bulls eye".........

One of SAOCA members got hit and ended up on a stop forum spam list. Other forum managers looked and said reject him even though he had regained control of his email address on a overly zealous manner. So pick a better password .

Mix of letters and numbers and capitalisation ..
I'd suggest people add a number before or after their existing PW and make a capital letter as the first or last of their existing so they still remember it

I just changed my password here on the site as well as on my email account. Hopefully
this won't happen again.

These scammers suck. I wish they would put as much effort into a legit job.

Kind of long for the good old days when someone trying to scam you actually had to show up at your door, spend money for postage or long distance call rates. And someone far away didn't bug you. Now, anyone anywhere in the world can send out notices or steal your identity without "investing" their own resources in it, and hit millions looking for a response.
