Riddle time #3

David,

yep there will be more to come. Hope we can find more parts stashes with "surprises" in the future...
I have to start a thread next year.

Back in 2006 I wrote an article for the Victorian club: "a few of my favourite things"

Which was all the obscure period factory and aftermarket parts i'd managed to find over the years

Michael ... I'd like to read that article .. would you have a link or the full club name? I searched a bit but couldn't find it just clubs about Victorian Houses. Wasn't there something here listing with photo of those obscure parts that alot of us have on our "wish I had'em list".

David,

It was for the Sunbeam Car Club of Victoria

They have a website but no old newsletters... I'll see if I can dig up a copy.
I have most of the 2012-13 ones...

Also iirc on either the early SAOCA or maybe teae site there was a guy who had a huge collection of NOS rootes accessories and had photographed them and they were posted in a section on the site... Had watermark "from the collection of" ... Surname started with "Sho" maybe .....@65sunbeam might recall.

Thanks Michael .. I'm nursing an old hip injury so I have ample time to catch up on my reading .. I'll definitely check out that site. .. No driving any cars right now that require use of a clutch.

.... David

They also changed the later fuel filler cap keys to a double sided affair
