Rapier and Alpine parts

Hi, time to clean out parts left over from my projects. I have many parts for Series 1, 2. and 3 Rapiers and Singer Gazelle. Body, trim and mechanical.
Let me know what you you need.

Interested in buying a brake disc rotor or rotors for a series 3 Rapier, or early minx with disc brakes and 15" wheels. if anyone has any.

Also have many mechanical parts for Alpines.
One item being:
A complete 1725 engine and tranny unit. This unit is assembled and complete. This is very late model with the fine spline transmission. It was thoroughly refreshed about 1K miles before it was removed. Unfortunately, it seems the # 1 and 4 cylinders never seated correctly with 130 lbs compression vs 160 in 2 &3. The compression came up with a shot of oil. However it ran well, was pretty peppy and had very good oil pressure. It includes:
reground crank, 20 over pistons, Delta kb grind cam and lifters. A valve grind ,a Chevy crank seal in the timing cover. A gm alternator, 2 barrel Weber on stock manifold. Also has a pertronix ignition module. Ran cool. The tranny worked well with no crunches or coming out of gear.

Would like to get $600 for this.

Located in San Francisco bay area
PM me.

Regarding the Singer Gazelle. What year? Series? I’m searching for a coolant temperature sender, located just below the thermostat housing. Rapier may use the same. It will be two pieces. Very different! If you have one I will purchase. Thanks.

Sorry. I've never seen a two piece sender. How does that work? I have a sender from a 59 Gazelle but it looks like a traditional Rootes sender. Is it a Smiths brand gauge? I have never found a proper sender for my 57 Rapier. It had AC gauges.

Thanks. That sender would not work. That Singer at some point likely had the sender replaced as it probably stopped working, like mine. The senders are different than normal, as is the gauge. Power off the needle reads hot. Power on the needle returns to cold and operates as normal. Power off, needle goes to hot. Very different!
