Proper size mini lights

I am considering putting 15 inch mini lights on my series V. Considering 7 inch width all around or 6 inch in the front and 7 in the rear. Will this fit without alterations? Also what recommendation for tire size.

I have 185/55-15 on 15x6 in the front and 205/50-15 on 15x7 rear and they just clear. The rear fenders are rolled, the front is stock, 15x7 will not fit on my series 2 without a lot of cutting.

7" on the front won't work without some different offsets and trimming of the front valance.
6" is the widest a stock car can handle before there a clearance issues on body and suspension.

Btw Doug it's mini-lite wheels... ;)

With the 15x6 is there any offset to be aware of?
On the front more so, iirc we all usually have a 24p ...but I seem to recall 22p on front for some people with the larger dia wheels ... I need to look it up

If you go to the threads about rota wheels I think it was discussed a few times

Proper probably means accurate knock off repop which is a big ask. Seen all the sort of ones. If you want a rare wheel look for the D-1 Dunlops or the couple period correct Cosmic wheels. Bear in mind that manufacturers can advise that wheel width must be a 6" minimum.
Ok start now with the comments, like that's what the lawyers say :)

....just wonderin how many Candle power are those mini Lights?...

or is it lumins...

With 15x6 alloy wheels, the maximum backspace on the front end of a late Series Alpine is ABOUT 4-3/4" which is equal to a positive offset of ABOUT 25-30 mm. ABOUT because Series Alpines are notorious for being dimensionally variable and wheels may not be as precise as hoped. Using a 15x6 fitment wheel with something like +20 mm offset would allow a precise determination of the optimal offset.

FWIW, I have fitted 15x6 alloy wheels with +27 mm offset on the front of my S-V. Not sure that +30 mm would clear the outer end of the upper A-arms on my car.
