I found that on Amazon there is a series of movies called "Racing through Time." And one of them is about Jack Brabham. There is a video inside his shop showing a red S3 (and a very ugly MGB hardtop).

On the machine, yes, in the video the wheel is spinning - and it is a front wheel. So certainly what that is. I had that done once on another car when I was trying to chase down a vibration.

It is rumoured that jack ran a minx with the fully tuned driveline out of his modified rapier.
