Pertronix Ignitor and Flame Thrower Question

Scotty

I just installed the Pertronix Ignitor with the Flamethrower to swap out the 'Hot-Spark' setup I was using and it's a HUGE difference. Totally transformed the car.

My question is, can I continue using the wires I get from places like SS or CS or should I switch over to a different type of wires? Is there anything based on your experience that I should be aware of with this unit outside of not turning the car on unless I'm starting it?

Scotty, I briefly played with a Pertronix on the Alpine.

One thing I was going to do, but didn't,

Is GLUE the plastic Magnet ring onto the Dis shaft.

It fit too loose and moved around.

I was going to glue it with some RTV

So it could come off with little effort.

But still not move around in service.

...at least that was the plan...

As far as Wires, As long as they are not Solid core

metal /Low resistance wire, they should be OK.
