Perfect For A Conversion

That would be a Husky here in the US, right? Friend of mine Russ E. has a wonderful yellow and white one very nice original car. Thinking a guy out CA way put Tiger guts in one.

The Cobb is different from the Husky - sort of. On the same order as the old Chevrolet Suburbans and the panel delivery vans with the same body style.

I think the major diffs are no rear side glass and no back seat. Maybe no rear interior trim as well. The Cobb was a lower cost, than the Husky, commercial vehicle. Mechanically, they were the same.

As for a conversion - maybe ...... but.......

It is not readily apparent by observation but the architecture of the engine compartment is different from an Alpine's bay. The thing that concerns me most about a conversion is that the Husky does not really handle the increased power from an Alpine engine very well. More power than that would present some new real challenges to overcome.

Sounds like fun though :D ,
