Does anyone know a cross compatible set of spark plug wires that will fit my SerII ( have the later press on rotor cap)?

I would rather forgo the conspiracy of idiots that is the counter help at my local auto zone and just walk in and find a set of off the shelf wires with no hassle..

Thanks

Eric

I got a set from a local CarQuest store a couple of years ago. They actually had a cross-reference number for the Sunbeam. It is written down at home. I'll find it tonight and post it.

Hi Eric,

Another way is to measure the lengths of each lead and choose the brand that you want. Most good automotive stores should have at least a few different brands to choose (standard and performance).

The easiest and cheapest way I found was to purchase a stock set designed for a domestic 6-cyl. car. I used Borg Warner Sure-Spark part # CH624SP. Four of the wires, plus the coil wire, fit fine; you can keep or ditch the odd two.
