The Sunbeam Owners of the South and South Carolina Alpines + Tigers would like to invite you to join us at the largest Sunbeam gathering in the Southeast on Saturday October 2nd at Weston Lake-located in Columbia, South Carolina.
The main event of the weekend will be the 150+ British cars joining us at Weston Lake for the show. This show is sponsored by the British Car Club Midlands Centre and more information and registration forms can be found at http://www.bccmc.com/index.php/cbc-iv/ Following the show on Saturday, we will have a cook out for Sunbeam owners as well as a swap meet and plenty of socializing. An early Sunday morning Sunbeam cruise and breakfast is also being planned. Last year we had 15 Sunbeams at the show and everyone had a great time! This year's host hotel will be the Quality Inn which is located just 7 miles from the show site and special room rates have been arranged for car show participants. Please contact myself or Todd Smith if you have any questions.

Hey Tom,

Are you and Susan coming for this? I thought ya'll had a conflict on this date.

I sure hope you can make it. George and Beverely have a conflict so I knwo they will not be there. We are going to have a big cookout for all the Sunbeamers after the show at one of the log cabins on the lake so you will not have ot travel but about 200 feet!

Cheers,

One more month to go until the SOS! Cooler weather is coming too so get the Sunbeams running and come join us. If you missed the Invasion this Spring and won't make it to Maine this October for the United, this event is the last big Sunbeam gathering you will be able to attend this year on the East coast.

Eric,

I may be able to drive up/return home that Saturday--will have to wait and see.

In addition to the United scheduled so close, Airpine is on stands awaiting a pair of rear wheel hubs, and the Tiger is still being sorted to test for road worthiness.

I'll be coming alone with the red Series IV on the trailer. Unload and load at the show grounds. I'll be coming in early on Saturday and stay till after the SOS. Looking forward to the time with all the SunBeamers.
Where and how do I check the transmission fluid? I know there is a plug in the tunnel, but how do I know how much fluid and what kind do I need?
Also, are there directions to the show grounds somewhere?
Looks like I just full of questions amoung other things. :D

Park on a level surface. Under the plug is a bolt, remove it, if oil runs out it's full. I use non-detergent 30w motor oil in the tranny. different folks use different fluid.
See you up there at the lake we'll be in the Honda CRV

I'm thinking sat. morning around 6:30--7:00. Maybe we could link up, do a caravan.

Airpine remains down but the green beam looks ok.
