For those within drivable proximity of Rome, Georgia,
there is a nice leisurely type car show coming up on October the 8th.
The show is called Cars on Broad.
Basically, the city closes off Broad St in historic downtown Rome for the car show, bluegrass music festival (Fiddlin' Fest), and arts/crafts fair. There are several good restaurants on Broad that will be open as well as shopping during the show. They give away SEVERAL awards and the show supports a scholarship charity in our county.
They've been doing the show for years and I've been to the past three.
It's always a good time and there are normally 150+ cars.
This is an open show...not just for Brits.
I will be there with my Alpine, my dad with his Tiger, and Hopsedge with his Alpine...so far.
If you'd like to join, pre-register and we can meet at my office that morning and ride in and park together.
You have to go in together to park together...no saving spaces.
