Moto-Lita Hub Pulling

Anyone have any suggestions for pulling a Moto-lita hub on a Tiger 1? There are no holes for a hub puller.

I leave the nut loose at the end of the threads, hold the hub in one hand pulling back and hit the nut with a brass hammer. You can also use a steering wheel puller bolted to the hub in three spots if you can find a large one.

Unfortunately, as I stated the hub has no provision for a puller.

You can try spraying penetrating oil like Liquid Wrench or PBblaster on the splines, leave the nut on a few threads and while pulling on the wheel tap the nut as Toyanvil stated above.

Pete... Assume you have a tiger adjustable column... Assume you removed the nut down in the middle of the hub but it wont slide up and off ?

Firstly watch out for the centre part of the adjustment for the column falling back down inside the column.. Total PITA to get back up with a long magnet.

If all nuts are removed.. Id spray penetrating oil soak a couple if times over a day.. Then shock it a little with a rubber mallet.

Thrn try rocking it in and out a little
