Mikunis on CD150 Manifold Questions

I've noticed a poster here and a site online (this one - http://www.v-performance.com/products/air_fuel.html) with a Sunbeam Alpine using one of the Mikuni 42Rs on a Stromberg manifold. Does anyone have any other information about this? Which Mikuni's would bolt on to a CD150 manifold are and what the pros and cons could be of utilizing them on a fairly stock 1725 engine.

Thoughts?

I be that Poster! .. Came across the info on a search of unrelated stuff. No other info .. never talked to anyone using them .. Just a interesting alternative for our cars.

The link write up says they have an adapter.

Very cool stuff. I think the things they say are true about the continuing advancement of carb tech by Mikuni for motorcycles when cars went to injection and the other carb makers stopped improving. We used a Mikuni on the Rayjay turbocharged VW Bug my dad and I built.
