Massive Sunbeam Hoard in Oregon

I talked to the guy who had listed it originally. He is selling for a friend, and he was very short in his answers to me and not at all interested in having people come look at stuff or selling it in any other way than all together. I do understand and respect the privacy part, and selling stuff online is a huge pain sometimes but I was disappointed that, being that I live minutes away, that there was not interest in letting someone look. It will likely be a very long time until someone can buy all of it together, because one would need to have a plan to either move/store it all...or start a business with it. Either of which I am in a position to do.

They want to get paid for someone to clean up their yard is what it is lol.

Seriously, how much do they want for the whole thing?

It's down to $20,000 on Facebook Marketplace. I've seen single basket case Tigers go for more. Hard to tell from the photos how many/if any/which ones/what condition are Tigers. Of course, it's $20,000 for the cars and parts, countless more for the transport.

It was something like $23,000. for what they claim is 22 or-so Alpines and possibly a few Tigers. How many operable cars could you get from that lot....that's the question. In the meantime, it will all sit there and rust until the next fire sale.

I'm guessing this is the hoard? Looks like a widely scattered collection... it would be a real task to gather that all up, catalog it and sell it all off, and would very likely take many years to do it. Then there's the cost of scrapping what can't be sold. Indeed, in the end, I don't know how much you could even make doing all that work, particularly if you include the value of your time. Ugh... I'm glad it ain't me.

(I also don't see a single Tiger or original hard top in the photos... methinks all the $$$ goodies have been scavenged already.)
