Lucas 6RA 33199 relay

The 33199 relay has the extra contact, C4, needed for the self cancelling OD switch arrangement.

See fig 4B here:

The 33213 relay does not have that contact.

Routes66, I don't understand your point. No one would go thru the trouble of using a two relay solution if they had a good useable 33199 relay, but not just any 6RA relay. I must be the 33199 type. Most 6RA relays do not have the extra contact and that is why they use two of them to accomplish the same action.

The guy selling this is one and the same Mackem , who came to the board to ask for a fix as his Shot 6RA 33199 relay back in September.
I'll bet a pound to a pinch of salt this IS that relay.

Tom I have a question, i have a broken 6RA 33199, and, of course i cant operate my overdrive, do you know what can i do to fix this?

I must say that Im unable to find a proper spare, as all 33199 Relays i have found where old posts or offers and there seems to not be one at sale right now.

Any possible solution using any other type of relay?

Thanks and have a good time

Tom H provided me the parts to modify a standard 6RA relay to create the self-cancelling circuit for my overdrive gearbox and it has worked flawlessly.
