KB grind camshafts

I'm putting together an engine for a S2 and would like to add a little zip, I have tried to access the forums but keep getting told cam is only 3 letters and it won't do my search. So my question is who has these cams for sale and do they require special lifters or rocker arms. This is a 1592 .040 with a stock freshened head.

If you search on camshaft and search in the "Stock" Alpine forum you'll find 102 threads, many relating to the KB grind. Including the "Modified" forum will mainly add threads about V6 cams. Note that an Alpine with a KB cam would still be most appropriate for the "Stock" forum, if you read the description of that category.

But to answer your question, I am 99% sure that the way to get a KB cam is to send your existing camshaft to Delta Cams in Tacoma, WA. I'm not as sure that the KB grind is appropriate, or available, for the 1592 engine. It may be specifically for the 1725.

Junkman, Delta Cams phone number is 1-800-562-5500 Scott is a good guy to contact.

They did work for me on the Alpine and V6 stuff. Did cams, rockers and lifters too.
