Is this brake booster placement normal?

New to the forum guy here. I recently picked up a '67 Alpine with a V-6 conversion. The brake booster is mounted forward next to the alternator, is this normal? Car is up and running. Brake response is less than desirable. Please note that I haven't done a full brake inspection. That will come later this week.

Don't know how you define the "normal" location for a hydraulic brake booster in a Series Alpine with a V-6 engine conversion. The only feasible locations in the engine compartment for a hydraulic brake booster are the upper front corners of the engine bay and the upper rear corner of the engine bay opposite the brake and clutch master cylinders (i.e.; the "Tiger" location). It's a street rod, "normal" is what works for you.

LOL, I thought the "Normal" might get a reaction. Thanks Barry, My question has been answered. As I suspected, not all have the booster as I couldn't find a picture of one that had one.:D
