While sorting thru my treasure trove I came across these pieces. Why did Rootes use two different sizes of castings for the base of the small window? Are these model specific? Thanks, Jeff

The thicker one is for the GT door trims as found on S3-V and Tigers. This allows for the door top roll and the thicker pleated interior door panels to align to the chrome trim. On the ST models without the thicker panels or door top rolls they align to the painted surfact on the door
