HLM project progress...

Yep. There are many "specialized" but well thought through solutions on the HLM ;). Quite amazing for such small coach building company...

Ultimately the project is getting to speed again. An update here. Underside, inside, & engine compartment are already painted in Moonstone (Colour Code 19).
Lots of trial fitting ongoing to assure the roof is really in proper position before glueing on. Fuel tank trial fitted & found the filler neck being too long ( filler cap fouling with tank flap). Had to be trimmed a bit. Couple of holes bored making sure all the brightwork fits properly:

P.S. The seal lying in front of the windscreen is a NOS one for the early series. Boy, it took me 30+ years to find one :)

P.P.S. Yesterday we also trial fitted the final & newly chromed windscreen frame w the glass installed. Earlier adviser recommended me to do so. Can now confirm that because frame w glass has way more rigity than w/o. Also dashboard cover secured by the vent outlets and early rubber installed in order to confirm allowance to take the screen/frame out with roof installed. Can also confirm that it's getting rather tight there with all the stuff on...
