Hangar Mount/Bracket for Alpine Steering Column

In the PIC's below you can see a small half circle (spacer). Anyone ever see this little "spacer" ion their mount bracket ?

I found this in my pile of Alpine parts with the spacer. I did not know I had it or do not remember from whence it came. Believe it was from the SIV GT.

Wjile installing the steering columns in other Alpines, sometimes I made a spacer similar to this one. I believe it is factory. Off to the PARTS Book....

It's NOT factory...its a hack job!..LoL!

The "sleeve" may not be Factory, But it is NOT a hack job. Take a good look at the design and perfection in the angles, A perfect method of increasing tension on the Steering Column. Sure wish I had known of this sleeve in my inventory before I fabricated one for my EPS.
