Fuel line leak

Looks like I now have a leaking fuel line on my '66 Tiger. One of the previous owners sprayed an undercoating on the car so finding the exact point of the leak is challenging. The leak is in the part of the line that runs under the boot housed in slot welded to the bottom of the boot. My question is on the termination of this portion of the line. It looks like there is a nipple coming off the gas tank balance pipe that connects to the line with a compression type fitting. Is that the case? Again it's difficult to tell with the undercoating covering everything.

Thanks if advance for any insights

I've had to snug up the hose clamps on the crossover pipe in the past due to leaks..

try checking the vent tube on the top of the tank i had the same problem and by chance i pushed on the tube and it showed the leak at the connection to the tank hope that helps

Maybe the same fuel line setup was used on Tigers as Alpines. On my 1966 Alpine, the fuel line has a compression fitting into the crossover pipe.
