Exactly what I did Michael. More of a matter of what I had laying around. The rear exhaust hanger bolts are 2x as plentiful in the old parts bin of a Tiger guy ;)

Try mounting it on exhaust isolating bobins. The ones with a stud each side coming out of rubber that do not touch. Stops the vibration reverberating inside the battery box/ spare tire well or body
I actually used rubber spacer on the bolts between the pump and bracket and Dynamat between the bracket and the car but it's still a bit noisy.
Your suggestion is definitely a good one going forward, should I install another one.
