Evaluation of the Last Dyno Session before Going to the 2019 Engine Masters with the 289

Geof, fun talking to you about the V6

a while back!

I didn't see the coverage of the 289 back

in the day, but enjoying it now!

VERY interesting you ended up with

different exhaust on different sides

of the engine!

It sounds like maybe a little bit of

a happy accident??

I have built a lot of small block Fords,

street and Vintage race.

In the Vintage Race world, we are limited

in the valve train world, no roller cams

or roller rockers, in the strictest groups.

My primary goal is reliability, But we

have to have Fun TOO.

The recipe for a stout 289 Ford is not real

hard to find, with No limitations,

More so with limited parts, as you well know.

Making them live, more

of a challenge, but doable.

BTW, if you get Bored with the old

Detroit Iron, I can help you with

the hardware to play with making Power

... or attempting to, with an Alpine engine.
