Ethanol is dry but the biggest problem is the water that it tends to hold, it causes all kinds of problems. The cly. heads on our cars were made to use leaded gas so you can have problems with valve seats. I have used about 2 to 3 oz. of Marvel Mystery oil in a tank of gas about every two months or so and this helps, I have had no head problems for over 30+ years.
