But a clarification...
As in sump to rocker cover with no manifold/carbs/headers/accessories.... Or complete motor with all bolt ons?
Oliver .. I can't seem to find it either... I know it has been discussed... Anyone???Hi mate - I did a search but no joy... all up, no trans. Cheers, Oliver
Thanks ToyAnvil - what did you have the weight in your opinion? Cheers, OliverI started a thread back in 18 on motor weight that was deleted by the moderator, "deleting this post because I no longer have confidence in the numbers". maybe they took down the others, I found it odd that it would be taken down.
Perfect works for me. Many thanks!Back in 2008, JumpinJan posted that a 1600 engine without flywheel (or clutch), manifolds, carbs, water pump, crank damper, oil pressure/filter block or distributor (and presumably without generator) weighed 189 pounds. I suspect that all the missing stuff would put the "loaded" 1600 engine weight at over 300 pounds.
