Electric Fan

Hi Forum,

Sorry to re-open this thread again, but I vaguely remember a posting on one of the previous forums regarding testing of your petrol guage. Does anyone know the cold and hot (up to temperature) resistance of the temperature sender for the Alpine? I assume that the sender works by the current changes which move the meter accordingly. Once I know the resistance I can work out the rest. This is following up from my thoughts regarding a fan controller. I would check this myself, but my radiator is still not finished (it's killing me not being able to go for a spin in the Alpine).

Thank you, Robin.

Hi Forum,

I have finally finished repairing and modifying my radiator and is back in my Alpine where it should be. I have spent a few days stripping and repainting the radiator and has come up very nicely. I have found that two 9" electric fans do fit into the cut out in the radiator support panel (I have photos to prove it), so all I have do do now is wait for my new fan switch and wire up the second fan.

Regards, Robin.
