Early Series Bumperette Wanted

Now that my car is (nearly) done I discovered that one of the bumperettes isn't straight...too bad I didn't notice that before I had them chromed!

I need 1 early series bumperette...doesn't have to be nice as I will have it chromed to match the rest of the car.... just needs to be straight and not pitted.

Bumperettes aka overriders? I have a box full. Will post pictures later today.
Curious - how much does it cost to get one chromed?

I know you have chromed the others....so the money is spent... And doing 1 more matching is logical option...but... The later overriders are a lot less dominant on the car... And it's not like you're are going for originality....

I like the early ones…
Fair enough.. in have them on my series II ..but always have an inclination to switch to theatrr style so it's not such a 50s look... The Alpines used a clean simple design and moved away from ornamental design details.. the early overriders always felt a bit at odds with that.

These are my 5 best. #1 has the bolt broken and arrows pointing to very small dents.

The chromer I use charged me $25 per overrider the last time I had some done. It was a couple of years ago.

That's seems super reasonable...
What type of plating...how many plates and what were the base coatings?
Michael:
They have 3 grades of finish from daily driver to show car. I chose the least expensive for my Series II because it’s a daily driver. I can’t remember the details of the plating process but they look very nice. They also removed some small dents included in the price.
