Distributor Cap screw-in vrs push on

Just ordered and received a Distributor Cap and ended up with the "screw on" one (part #54414513 / DDB105). My new HT/Spark plug leads and Coil are push in. Sigh, yer I know.

Question is would a DB106 cap fit which is "push in"? I am thinking it might but appreciate some wiser input before I buy.

I know electronic is the way to go but want to get her running (and not sputtering, stalling when hot) first. Running new 32/36. The coil, ballast is original, cap, contacts, condenser are probably 10-15 years old, so I am replacing them all, one by one to see what is failing. Had hoped the Weber would fix it but alas no.

Thanks as always
