Differential gear oil question

I’m going to replace the oil in my differential and have this synthetic Motorcraft left over from another project. Is this something I can use in my S5?

You want a heavy oil marked 'EP' this means that it is rated for Extreme Pressure. A non-EP oil will be 'worn out' very quickly and will provide inadequate protection. It was originally EP90 in the differential but at least one UK differential specialist recommends using heavier oil such as EP140 or a mix of the two. Apparently the heavier oil compensates for 60+ years of wear and makes the diff run quieter.
