Crazy Januany Weather

It's been a bit cold here lately, -35C. The other night I tried to go see my wife in hospital, got about 2 blocks and could see nothing, blowing snow. Turned around and went home. Normally you can see about 10 streelights ahead. I could see none.
We're supposed to get our January thaw this week. Temps max at +3C (closing in on 40F). About time. Wind chills have been around -50C.

Fickle Southeastern weather

The weather here has had Alpine driving all over it, been out driving for the last 4 days, beautiful in January, can't believe it. Hope everyone else thaws out soon.
