Crankshaft thrust washers....

Can one of our resident experts confirm that the copper colored face, the same side as the relief, presumaby for oil passage...of the thrust washer faces the milled surface of the crankshaft?

Yes, the copper side (with oil relief slots) goes to the crank thrust faces.

To be sure its the correct bearing, be sure to measure clearances while you are at that point. This is best done with a dial indicator as it is tough getting an accurate figure with a feeler gauge.
