Columbia, SC Invasion March 27+28 2026

Missed you at the mini United at Cayce.
Maybe you'll make the trip to Dobson in a few weeks. We are the marque for the Show at Shelton Vineyards. Hotels are available but you'll need to be either 10 to 15 miles north ot south of Dobson.

We had such a great time at the show. So nice to meet new Sunbeamers and talk to those that I've known
for years, but never met before! Great turn out, great cars and great people. The only thing that would have made
it better would have been if my car was there, but that will be remedied next year!

Hey, Mr. Sunalp... How did you become the Rebel Harness guy? I have a Rebel Harness in my car. Does that make me a Rebel Harness Club member? Dutchess County, NY is a haul for you... Are you thinking of going to Dobson in 3 weeks?
Rich

Hi Rich,
Unfortunately Dobson's not in the plan for this year, however next year....
Great meeting you and seeing your Alpine, same color as my old Series IV!
Paul ( Pete ) A was getting out of Rebel and I just sort of took it on. Made many changes
it the harness since then, and Rebel has changed owners too. New people there are great
to work with!
Cheers,
Steve

Sorry, haven't made a Rebel club...yet!

Will there be dues for Rebel club membership, or does it come in the purchase price? Now that I have the engine back in my car, I need to finish up terminating all those wires.

No, I think you've already paid your dues with the install!
Don't forget I'm here for any questions or issues you might have.
Cheers!

I ended up buying a separate dash harness for my VDO gauges, so in the end, I will have one big plug that will tie the VDO harness to the Rebel harness. This way, I was able to do all the dash wiring on my bench instead of upside down under the dash.

When rewiring these cars, the only way to do it is to take the dash out and put it on the bench. I spent several hours beneath the dash on both sides of the trans hump wiring my stock console radio. I hated every minute of it. The car seats were out, the steering wheel was removed, and my hands were almost useless in that claustrophobic space. I kept my phone handy in case I got stuck down there, and I did.
